GLOSSARY

Koro (Jap)

Japanese incense burner or censer used in Japanese tea ceremonies or on the family anchestor's altar - butsudan. There are two major types, with lid for granulated incense and open ones, for sticks. Examples occurs in porcelain, Satsuma earthenware, cloissine or cast bronze.
