GLOSSARY

Beaker (Tumbler)

Drinking vessel of cylindrical shape often slightly tapering and with no handle or stem. A beverage container or a ceramic cup or mug without a handle. The term beaker is used in parts of the United Kingdom. In North American English referring to a drinking vessels it is called a tumbler.
